Mike grew up with a Chinese immigrant father from Hong Kong and an Italian mother. As a kid he always thought he was the only person on the planet who was Chinese and Italian.

When it came to deciding on food, Mike finds himself torn between his Chinese and Italian heritage. So, Mike went on writing a children’s book titled ‘Fried Rice & Marinara’
