Today I speak to Kristelle Siarza Moon. Kristelle is a business executive, non-profit founder and entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in digital communications and leadership. In 2014, she founded Siarza Social Digital – a 360 degree digital marketing firm that pivots on innovation, curation and creativity.

As a proud Filipina, Kristelle founded the Asian Business Collaborative to support Asian business owners – an often underrepresented group in the business community. The collaborative was founded when Kristelle identified a lack of small business support to Asian owned businesses during the 2020 pandemic, the “non-profit in the making” was formed to focus on prosperity with a cultural competency lens.

What you’ll hear about:

  • The importance of family in driving your purpose and priorities
  • Finding a mentor
  • Building community and its influence in decision making
  • Jumping fully into opportunities
  • Using community to grow and evolve
  • Starting up a non-profit organisation
  • Getting comfortable failing forward
  • Being authentic can be a differentiator
  • Don’t be boring
  • Compassion for each other in a team
  • Focussing on teachable moments

Weekly Challenge : When you wake up in the morning what do you ask yourself and when you get home are you the person you wanted to be during the day?
Power of Music : Love Train by The O’Jays
