As adults, we are not autonomous. Quite the opposite, in fact—we are currently in a situation similar to when we were children.

This is because other people (a.k.a the government) are in a position of authority over us. It can be said, therefore, that these people are playing the role of "our parents" at this time.

They make rules that we must abide by, punish us when we step out of line, and we have to answer to them. One cannot deny the blatant similarities.

In Episode 5, we explore this concept further and discuss why we should begin to rethink the power we allow other people to have over us.
