The opportunity of a lifetime has come and went, two superstars climbed their way to victory leaving 10 competitors in the dust. Drew McIntyre and Tiffany Stratton have sealed their fates and now have their futures in their hands, or at least they both did. During the World Heavyweight Championship match Drew cashed in turning a one on one match into a triple threat match, unfortunately for Drew he came up short and failed to successfully cash in his money in the bank contract due to interference by CM Punk. Intercontinental champion Sami Zayn showed that no matter how red hot and strong you are sometimes the vets just come out on top, we are hoping that Bron Breakker eventually gets another title shot. As you heard Brother Pyro and I are kinda split on our feelings about the main event but we are both excited to see where this takes these 6 men and this ongoing story line.
Sad news comes from the WWE after the IC title match concludes, Mr. Hustle, Loyalty and Respect, The Dr. of Thuganomics, the jean short wearer himself John Cena has announced his retirement; there will be a farewell tour for him that will last from January 2025- December 2025 as we get one more year to say goodbye and thanks to someone who embodied a lot of our childhoods.
