July 13: Dalhousie Prof Sylvain Charlebois on Denmark's cow farts carbon tax.
Manage episode 428745393 series 2342620
Something's Rotten in Denmark at least with that country's livestock carbon tax. Beginning in 2030 Denmark's livestock farmers, as in cattle, sheep and pigs, will be forced to remit a carbon tax for their farm animals farts and belching. Might it be possible that Canada, without fully considering the impact, would introduce a similar tax here?
Guest: Professor Sylvain Charlebois. Senior director. Agri Foods Analytics Lab, Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia
