Raising our children takes up a lot of our time and energy - but that doesn't mean that doing the things that we're passionate about isn't just as important as ever in this season of life! Abigail O'Bryan, a mom of two and author who is currently launching her first fiction novel, is here to share with us how to do more of the things that bring us joy, and why it matters so much!
In this episode, Abigail and I talk about:

  • Why following your passions is so important
  • Boundaries as a way to protect your time and energy for what matters
  • Integrating your children into activities you enjoy
  • Why asking for help is worth it, even if it feels scary
  • The beliefs that often hold us back from doing what brings us joy
  • Checking to know if you are acting from a place of fear or joy

A little about our guest:
Abigail O'Bryan is an author, mother, avid gardener, and lover of food. Apart from writing, her passion is making sure everyone who needs a bit of home and family can find it in whatever measure they need at her house. Her debut novel, Iron Rose, is a dark YA retelling of Beauty and the Beast with a Grendel-inspired animal bent on overtaking the Beast's mind and a Beauty determined to dethrone a tyrant, and will be available everywhere August 6th, 2024.
