Ep 14 of the 2nd Season starts with Susie's busy week with her niece visiting and her husband's friend also visiting at the same time with their 2 sons. Susie believes she is a girl mom for a reason because boys are wild and always moving. Susie's youngest daughter is in volleyball camp and was the only one in her age group to be brought up to the older age group. Ed has had a busy week with a rally for Yong Yang - who was murdered by the LAPD for having a mental health crisis even though his father did not call 911 and called the Department of Mental Health; and Ed is fighting with Yong's family to demand justice for Yong as well as systemic change for how mental health crises are handled by the system where 24% of all shootings by police are mental health calls and 67% of those shootings end in death. Susie tried to watch Ed speak at the rally via his live. Susie and Ed talk about their own struggles with mental health and how this could happen to anyone. Ed's date texts him to tell him that she does not feel comfortable on how public-facing he is. Chad Kubanoff says "Me so hungee" and then gaslights feedback from Asian people disregarding his own Vietnamese wife and children and the responsibility he has as a white man to be cognizant of the effect he has making content centered around Vietnamese food and culture from which he is profiting from. A listener writes in an AITA: AITA for not rescinding my formal complaint of discriminatory harassment of my son by his teacher?
