Episode 11 takes a bit of a different turn into a harrowing disaster on the Thames. We didn't realise it, but this episode has been launched 4 days after the 35 year anniversary of the incident!
Listen as Hannah walks us through the the events that led to the capsizing of the pleasure boat Marchioness on 20th August 1989 resulting in 51 deaths!
And before anyone starts...we checked...where the boat ends up is technically still considered South London!
Find out why if deaths occur when companies are involved, they stop being classed as murders and start just being corporate manslaughter...and why apparently it's fine to drink copious amounts prior to captaining a boat, but not a train, car or any other form of transport!
So buckle up lads!
