In Uganda, the horror of child sacrifice persists, driven by a chilling belief that such acts can bring wealth and power. Many who may not even believe in witchcraft see it as an opportunity to exploit and manipulate, taking advantage of vulnerable communities.

Imagine the anguish of families torn apart by the loss of innocent children, sacrificed for the promise of prosperity.

This gruesome reality is what Peter Sewakiryanga confronts daily through Kyampisi Childcare Ministries (KCM).

Peter and KCM tirelessly work to eradicate child sacrifice by offering love, support, and practical assistance to affected families. Through education, community outreach, and advocacy, they are pioneering a path towards healing and justice.

In this episode, executive director at Kyampisi Childcare Ministries in Uganda joins me to talk about the dark reality of child sacrifice, why it is still rife despite many attempts to abolish it and how KCM is bringing justice to victims and their families.

To contribute to this cause, visit https://kyampisi.org/ and help abolish sacrifice.

There is a lack of awareness and there is a fear of addressing the issue because somehow people believe that these spiritual powers that witch doctors have will attack them so the best thing to do is ignore it. -Peter M Sewakiryanga
