Kwa-Zulu Natal contributes 7% of total international tourist spend and 12% of film spend in South Africa. The Authority is aimed at positioning the province as Africa’s leading destination for business and leisure. The KZN Tourism and Film Authority has strengthened its partnerships with SA Tourism as well as the National Film and Video Foundation to bolster economic opportunities in the province. This includes its Film Month celebration where the province played host to the Durban International Film Festival, the Simon Sabela Film and Television Awards and the Dundee July.
