In our final episode of the season, we bring you the story of Marshal Iwassa, a 26 year old man from Alberta Canada, whose burned out truck was discovered by hikers in a remote forest north of Vancouver in November, 2019, whilst Marshall himself, was nowhere to be found.

The discovery of Marshal’s truck prompted an endless number of questions. Who had set the vehicle on fire, what was it doing so far from Marshal’s home and most importantly, where was its owner?

We spoke to Marshal’s sister Paige, who has been searching for the answers to these questions for the better part of five years. She shares her theories about what happened to her brother, her frustrations at the lack of progress made by the authorities and her hopes that one day, she’ll finally learn the truth about what happened to her brother.

This episode is supported by Doe Network. They exist to appeal for answers in hundreds of missing persons cases worldwide. Visit their website The Doe Network to find more information in this and many other cases, which all need help. They believe the case of Marshal Iwassa CAN still be solved.

If you have any information which might help to solve this case, or anything you want to share, there is an easy way to get in touch. You can email missingpodcasttips@doenetwork.org - your information will be passed securely to the relevant authorities. And you can get in touch anonymously.
