East Clare residents will be invited to have their say on an EU funded project that will aim to preserve pristine local water bodies. The Graney sub-catchment was one of six areas nationwide, chosen for the Waters of Life programme in 2022, which aims to identify solutions to combat the decline of Ireland's high-status rivers. Drop in public consultation events will be held at the Flagmount Digital Hub tomorrow, and Thursday August 1st, with afternoon and evening sessions taking place on both days. Project Engagement Officer Ross O'Donoghue says local input is of paramount importance.
