Jock McGee is a mechanic turned Antarctic explorer who took part in several expeditions in the 1960s and the first to traverse parts of Antartica. Mount McGee is named for him. His daughter Jen is an aviation logistics coordinator and has been involved in several aspects of Antartic expeditions since 2007
