My journey with fasting began when I decided to take control of my health and dropped 135 pounds of fat in just seven and a half months. This transformation wasn't just about losing weight; it was about reclaiming my life and health. Fasting played a crucial role in this journey, helping me reset my body and mind.

During those seven and a half months, I relied heavily on fasting, particularly longer fasts. These extended periods without food weren't just about burning fat; they were about getting my mind right. Fasting helped me develop discipline and a better relationship with food. It allowed me to break free from old habits and create new, healthier ones.

Let's walk through what fasting looked like for me initially. The first step was understanding my relationship with food and how it affected my body. I started with intermittent fasting, gradually increasing the fasting periods as my body adapted. The longer fasts were challenging but incredibly rewarding.
