Are the reports true that with the ESPN multimedia agreement with the ACC running up in 2027, every member of the conference will need to sign a new Grant of Rights? If true, Florida State, Clemson, and whoever else wants to leave the conference can simply refrain from signing a new GOR and go along their merry way. Attorney Doug Rohan noted that the multimedia agreement and GOR separate. As long as there is a TV deal with ESPN, even an altered one, the Grant of Rights is valid until 2036. Valid, unless Florida State or Clemson are able to win other arguments in court to invalidate the agreement.

Hosts Alex Donno and Kenton Gibbs discuss these new reports and what it means for the future of the Seminoles and Tigers in the ACC. Meanwhile, are the east coasters sleeping on Cal? The Golden Bears are about to have their first season in the ACC. Cal alumnus and author Lawrence Ross joins the show to make the case for why Cal can have an excellent debut season in the conference. Ross makes a strong case that Cal is about to peak in football and they are entering the conference at the right time.
