Borderlands, writer & director Eli Roth’s first big-budget, action movie, hit theaters today, and Eli takes us behind-the-scenes of his adaptation of the popular video game! He talks about working with the A-list cast including Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jack Black, and Ariana Greenblatt, and explains his part in the casting process. He shares stories from filming in Budapest during COVID lockdown, collaborating with game creator Gearbox on the props, and directing with all the special EFX in mind! He reveals some of his favorite scenes and lines, how he approached a couple of the huge fight scenes, and what he did to ensure everyone’s close-ups were spot-on for the big screen! Plus, he tells tales from the cast’s adventures at San Diego ComiCon last month!
