Join Luke, Mitchell, and Vonn as they go over the rainbow to the magical land of Oz. Their first stop is Victor Fleming's 1939 classic The Wizard of Oz. Tune in to learn about the absolute hell the studio put Judy Garland and the rest of the cast ( but especially Judy Garland) through to make the most beloved movie of all time.
Then they veer off the Yellow Brick Road into The Forest of Disappointment when they visit Sam Raimi's 2013 outing Oz the Great and Powerful. How is it possible that this movie's effects are barely better than Jumanji's? How is it that titular Great and Powerful is outclassed and outacted by everybody else in the movie, including a porcelain doll? Most importantly, how did this movie make $500 million?!
Hitch a ride on your nearest tornado and head on over to High & Low's discussion on Oz for the answers to all of this and more!
