The Ray Rice elevator video has put the spotlight on domestic abuse. The dirty little secret of abuse has been exposed for the world to see. Unfortunately, this "secret" is one of the poorest kept and most accepted forms of violence in our society. Often the vicitms are chastised for staying in the abusive relationships and the perpertrators are not consistently punished for the terror they inflict on their victims. Further, the scars of domestic violence can set off a pathology that lends itself to generations of violence that trickles down the lifeline of a family and destroys the very fabric of its existence. Why do we experience "Fighting Love" in our scoiety? Let's talk about it and "DON'T BITE YOUR TONGUE"!!
