According to Wikipedia the Definition of Human Capital is defined as:

“The stock of competencies, knowledge, social and personality attributes, including creativity, embodied in the ability to perform labor so as to produce economic value.”

Just in case that definition just went over your head, think about it like this:

Imagine if Oprah Winfrey, suddenly became homeless. With the amount of “Human Capital” she possess in having run a Multi-Billion Dollar Company, wouldn’t you think it would be easy for her to offer her services as a Corporate Business Consultant and start making a six figure salary?

Not only is it vital but also extremely import for you to begin focusing on building your Human Capital. It is a lot more productive than worrying about “job security.”

Think about your potential to build so much Human Capital that you can literally obliterate the need to worry about unemployment or needing to hold a job!
