Am Wochenende findet der jährliche christopher street day, kurz CSD, in Freiburg statt. Der CSD ist der Fest-, Gedenk- und Demonstrationstag von Lesben, Schwulen, Bisexuellen und Transgendern, kurz (LGBT). Gefeiert und demonstriert wird für die Rechte dieser Gruppen sowie gegen Diskriminierung und Ausgrenzung.
Der diesjährige CSD in Freiburg, eine große demonstrative Party, die aber auch durch zahlreiche Infoveranstaltungen etc. begleitet wird, trägt das Motto: „Mein Herz schlägt gegen Rechts“.
