Episode 12 – “9 Blessings that Create a Lifetime of Fulfillment”
Manage episode 151542318 series 1030767
Would you agree that it seems that success is often times measured from the outside instead of from the inside?
Having success on the outside is easier to measure, because we can readily see it with our eyes.
Our eyes tell us that the suit, the dress, the car, the house, the job that a person drives can be correlated to the amount of success someone has.
Is there a measure to determine ones success on the inside?
What can we look at in our own lives that suggest we have a measure of success from the inside out?
I want to share 9 blessings that God has given His children.
These 9 fruits are given to you freely, you don’t earn them, you don’t buy them, they are deposited in you through the Holy Spirit.
And, the measure of these blessings can even be readily seen and heard by others.
Unlike outward success these 9 blessings are not fleeting, and they create an internal fulfillment that lasts a lifetime.
– Galatians 5:22 & 23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
– Proclamation: “Today, Lord God, I proclaim with my heart, my spirit to the truth of Your word. Father God, remove from me anything that is not of you, cleanse me of any doubt or unbelief. Cause my spiritual sight to be clear and true, to know the difference between your fruits of the spirit and the deeds of the flesh, to walk in the spirit allowing the fruits of the spirit to explode in to my life!”
– Why does God want us to have this fullness of His righteousness?
– Why does God want these fruits to blossom in our lives?
– Galatians 6:2 “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
– When your fruits are squeezed, how will you respond?
– Galatians 5:16 “So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.”
– Galatians 5: 19 -21 “ The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
– Colossians 3: 14 reminds us to put our focus on His love and it will create a bond of unity.
– When God walks over to the fruit tree of your life, will be pleased when He sees your fruit?
