We will look at two connected stories that Jesus told that are focused on his second coming. The first story is that of the ten virgins which reminds us of the unexpected nature of the return of Jesus. The second story is that of the talents which reminds us that we need to be using our gifts and talents – taking risks – investing them in kingdom business – while we are waiting for the return of Jesus.
