It's Saturday, May 23, 2015 and today is World Turtle Day.
This day recognizes the need for protection and preservation of turtles, which are rapidly disappearing as a result of habitat destruction and the exotic food industry. Although I’m not sure why they’re considered an exotic food. They’re just caramel and pecans, right?
