In this episode, I discuss the Sabres’ 4-0 loss to the Boston Bruins on Monday night. Specific topics discussed include:
- The Sabres gave up eight power plays to the Bruins tonight and surrendered three goals on those power plays.
- Without good special teams play, this is not a good team.
- Robin Lehner shouldn’t be blamed for this loss, but he certainly wasn’t the “God” Lehner we saw in Ottawa.
- The Gorges-Ristolainen pairing was throttled tonight.
- The Baptiste-Grant-Carrier line really struggled.
- I will continue to harp on it: this team lacks skill, and that is its biggest weakness.
