Homer Olivetto
Brazilian action film director!

Homero Olivetto is on the show today. He was in town during the film festival this last February with his first feature film Holy Biker, and we managed to grab him for a chat. The movie is about a biker gang in the northern wilds of Brazil who steal an idol from a powerful local landowner in the hopes of bringing the rains to a very parched region. It’s a story that’s been brewing in our guest’s head for 20 years and we talk about that path to getting it made. The film won the special Jury prize at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival and is still going around the festival circuit. There’s a lot of laughs in this one, friends, as Homero and I talk about the Brazilian film industry and his upcoming television series on the MMA circuit.
