I always think that I am a busy man, not until I met James Burtt! He is an iTunes Top 10 Podcaster, a brand manager, a property investor, an IPQA qualified coach, a third of the Champions of Mind, a husband, and a dad and he was able to spare us his time this week to talk about how to run multiple businesses.

In this episode, James shares how he has done anything and everything to get where he is right now. He even started working at the age of thirteen. He also shared how at one point he was working 80-90 hours a week.

We also talked about how his time in the music industry has taught him a lot of things as it was a “nervous” time for the industry and how he ventured from the management side of music to radio promotions and radio plug ins.

James also tackled how in your business, the value is YOU and although the strategy is the vehicle to make you the money, you are the one who actually is making the money!

He also shares that although strategies are important, sometimes you have to take the first step in faith, not knowing what the outcome is going to be, and just have faith that something good will come out of it.

We discussed how important it is to constantly add value. James shares that he believes on leaving something with value as something good will come out of it.

We also tackled the importance of becoming the best version of YOU that you can be.

We chat about about NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). James shares that for him NLP is the power of language and he says you need to be aware of the language that you use on yourself.

James clearly states that it is okay to want more.

And lastly we discussed work-life balance. James does not believe in it, but he does believe in BALANCE. With everything that’s going on in his life, he says he wakes up earlier, and goes to bed later than usual.
