This week on “Chasing Glory with Lilian Garcia,” Lilian sits down with WWE Superstar, Bobby Roode! Who would have believed that Bobby actually made his WWE debut 20 years ago!? He discusses how that opportunity came about, his debut match against Perry Saturn on Sunday Night Heat in 1998, and other WWE dark matches he wrestled until 2004. Bobby talks about being trained by Val Venis, and getting his big break in TNA in 2004, where he would remain for over a decade. He reminisces about all of the greats he had the opportunity to work with in TNA, including Hulk Hogan, Kurt Angle, and Jeff Hardy; and what ultimately led to his departure from the company in 2016. Bobby takes us back to growing up in Canada and playing hockey; how he grew up as an introvert, and how, being an introvert to this day, has affected his relationships throughout the years in the locker room. Bobby also talks about the importance of having a support system behind him, and how vital it is for him to keep a routine while on the road, due to his struggles with change. Bobby recounts his phone call with Triple H that led to his arrival in NXT, and how welcoming everyone was when he came in. Plus, what his transition to the WWE main roster has been like thus far, both the highs and the low points, and the importance he sees in having a patient and positive attitude. What does the future hold for Bobby in the WWE? Find that out and more as it’s about to get real, raw, and inspiring with The Glorious- Bobby Roode!
