Joseph Laycock is an Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at Texas State University whose research focuses on American religious history and sociological approaches to religious studies. He is the author of “Dangerous Games: What the Moral Panic over Role-Playing Games Says about Play, Religion, and Imagined Worlds“, “Vampires Today: The Truth about Modern Vampirism“, and has contributed to many other books and journals.

This week Jack and Special Guest Co-host Jim Miller from Arizona’s Crit Hit Tabletop Gaming Convention sit down with Joe to talk about gaming and the Satanic Panic of the 80’s and 90’s.
