With Brian continuing to be away on a rural secondment (sorry), Dush sits down with Mark, an Anaesthetics registrar to chat about the technical and non-technical aspects of vascular access and intravenous cannulation. Performing skills like this are as much mental as they are physical. Mark does an excellent job of talking us through his approach to the skill.
