n the final of a trio of episodes devoted to the THIRTEEN Celebrates the Summer of ’69, WNET Up Next puts the spotlight on the 50th Anniversary of the iconic Woodstock Music Festival.

Community Engagement’s Jasmine Wilson takes us behind the scenes of THIRTEEN’s Summer of ’69 project and outlines the station-wide collaboration that made it all happen. She and host Tom Stewart set the stage for the recollections of eight tri-state area residents, who can each honestly say, “I was at Woodstock.” Included is musician Ira Stone, who played onstage on Woodstock’s opening night.

To learn more about the “Summer of ’69” project log onto thirteen.org/summer69. And don’t forget to tune in to American Experience — Woodstock: Three Days That Defined A Generation premieres tomorrow, Tuesday, August 6 at 9pm on THIRTEEN.

Recorded: July 30, 2019 at WNET Audio C

Audio Engineering: Josh Broome

Editor: Samantha Lobo
