Its rare to enjoy being laid off and rarely do you even know it is coming. Through no fault of your own, your position is being eliminated and you are told to pack your things. While we all like to pretend this will never happen to us, the old adage of ‘you never know’ always holds true. It is good to always prepare for this situation, even if you are an all star performer at your company.
