The whole book of Hosea is from one angle a study of what it means to turn back to God. It is a story of reconciliation and renewal. We see it with Hosea and Gomer; we see it with God and His Bride. It is the story of God's faithful love to His bride and His desire for them to enjoy and embrace His love for them and to love Him as a result. God relentless commitment to restore His people to Himself is shown in His clear warning of punishment and promise of life in Hosea 5 and 6.
