Circle Gherkin started out as a joke guild in the space-themed MMO, Wildstar. The name was popular among it's guild members for its hilarious and not-so-subtle innuendo. Ultimately the name has stuck with the group ever since, even as they departed the world of Nexus at an attempt to regain their social lives.
