Christopher Showerman - ACTOR, DIRECTOR - "That [George of the Jungle] was better than winning the lotto"
Manage episode 386429581 series 3517518
Christopher Showerman grew up in rural Michigan and studied music composition at Michigan State University. After teaching music for a few years, he moved to LA where he has racked up a pocket full of stage and TV credits in the past few decades. He is still best known for portraying George in Disney's George of the Jungle 2. His directorial debut, Radio America, is a music drama that he also wrote the script and songs for. He even got to work with the great Vincent M. Ward in the Sci-Fi movie Encounter.

"Lots of my favorite memories involve physicality, and lots of my favorite people are physically challenged with spinal cord injuries. So I'd love to see the day we finally get spinal cord regeneration figured out! "
