Love God, love people, and change the world. We believe the life and lessons of Jesus aren’t just good advice, but are Good News for us here and now. As a church, we are all about following Jesus and know there’s no end to that journey—we’re more about becoming than arriving. We are committed to becoming a multi-generational, multi-ethnic, multiplying movement of Christ followers, equipping and empowering our kids and students to not only be the church of tomorrow, but the church of today.

We welcome the imperfect, flawed, and broken as much as the healing and thriving because we are all God’s children. As a family, we seek to create relationships and foster growth to trust in God and pursue His loving purpose for our lives. Join us as every week we go through topical messages that help us grow as Christians and understand God's word.

There are 168 hours in a week. Most of us only use 1. 1 hour in church. 1 hour to worship. 1 hour to grow or serve. 1 hour a week to hear from God, find freedom, or get our breakthrough. 1 hour a week. This is The 167.

To see God's hope transform out cities one story at a time.. that is why we exist. Whether you are brand new to Church or you’ve been around for a while; we want to say welcome! A daily devotion podcast for followers of Christ. For much of church history, daily morning prayer services were a regular rhythm of the community’s life together. Some traditions continue to keep this practice, some families still practice daily devotions together in the morning or evening, but for many of us, daily communal prayer and worship simply doesn’t fit into the regular rhythms of our busy lives. I hope this podcast is able to help with that, even just a little.

City Hills Church is a life-giving church in the Hill Country of San Antonio, TX. Our hope is to give you a place where you experience a fresh, enjoyable connection to God and a community of people.

This sermon is being preached to people like me, the Christian who has read this passage hundreds of times. It starts with an impossible ask – to be perfect – which is only possible with Jesus. It goes on to tell a story of compassion. Compassion that: takes action, is universal and comes from Jesus’ resurrection alone.…

Cory teaches on Revelation 21:1-8. Faithful Christians will reign with Jesus in the new creation as in Eden. The mainstream narrative about “going to heaven when I die” is only part of the full biblical story. Looking at Rev 21:1-8, we see through the OT references that John is describing a renewed creation of both heaven and earth, and that the fa…

There are many words we use in our faith that we hear on Sundays at church, but never any other day of the week. Maybe you heard some of these words when a fellow Christian was praying or used in a casual conversation during fellowship. Because of that, sometimes those words lose their meaning. In this sermon we explore one of those words, the word…

Rev. Chris Browne continues in our Story of Jesus series with a message titled: "Arrested Development" focusing in on the arrest and betrayal of Jesus to see that Jesus’ commitment to the will of God demonstrates for us that we ought to be held captive by nothing more than the love of Christ Jesus Our Lord. Pastor Shawn talks with a mental health professional about how God wan…
