D’Angelo Stefani was raised in an abusive home and had many foster care placements. At 11 he was living on the streets and at 28 he robbed a bank. It ended in prison. To say that D’Angelo has been to hell and back would be an understatement and like many authors, he found the process of committing his story truthfully to paper cathartic. His book is called, On My Own: Reflecting On Yesterday is out now. Oh and one more thing, at 13 he did the unthinkable - he took a life.
