A podcast about two friends who work at a bookstore and talk about books and other bookish things!
Book Two: chapter the first: In which we talk about our bookish firsts. Which includes but is not limited to, the first book places we visited, the first bookish friends we had, and, of course, the first book we remember falling in love with.
In which we talk about a bookish new year, bookish resolutions, and some unique traditions. Also, what book we will read first on our TBR pile in the New Year, and what our most anticipated release is.
In which we talk about the one and only Tolkien and why we both love him so much. Aka lots of middle earth nerdy stuff going on. We also talk about Lord of the Rings trips we have taken, and how this book has influenced our lives and friendship. Also, the movies.
In which we talk about getting barbequed by dragons, ( which we think is kinda cool) how awful/ amazing spiders are, and visits to our quirkiest books places. We also establish that someone should write a Jane Eyre goosebumps retelling.
In which we talk about some of the most “Impressive” book places we have been to, and we basically establish that Neil Gaiman is taking over the world in the best way possible— which we fully support. Also, everyone should read Terry Pratchett.
In which we agree that houses made of books are really the only houses worth building, and we tell you where we hail from because that is relevant… maybe. Also, we talk about favorite bookstores and some of our favorite books.
In which we introduce ourselves and establish that we are, in fact, the best of bookish friends. Also, we really don’t know what we are doing, but it’s fine and you should listen anyway.
