Cathy Rowland is a Women's vitality coach with 29 years of interior design expertise.
Almost everybody all over the world would associate health and wellness with the proper diet, exercise, and sleep, among others. Equating it with the space and interior design of homes as well as offices is almost unheard of. Being a women's vitality coach, in addition to prioritizing self-care as well as self-awareness, space design is the special ingredient she offers her clients. Designing Space for Wellness is the course she created for this.
Highlights:

  • Self-care should be at top of our priorities because we can't fill an empty cup
  • Debunk Limiting beliefs such as metabolism gets slower as we grow older but that doesn't mean we cannot make better choices
  • Ketosis - through intermittent fasting, the body resets and burns fats instead of retaining it
  • First steps to wellness - cut out sugar and sugary drinks, and processed foods; increase sleeping hours; track your steps in 21 days
  • The most taken-for-granted aspect of wellness - making our home and office space our own oasis or haven
  • Less is more - declutter, get rid of, and discard the things you do not need or like and give them away to others who need them and might find joy in using them
Women's instincts make them natural nurturers. They plan out keeping up with everybody's needs and forget about themselves. With a long to-do list, they usually come in last or never at all. This and the vicious cycle of self-neglect among women is what Cathy stands up to stop. She emphasizes that wellness does not only come from what we consume but also from the environment that we see and the space we move about. Curious about how she does it, follow her on FB, Instagram, and LinkedIn where she is most active.
