Well this all starts with me going to goodwill over 20 years ago and getting a book on films. It has a picture of Darth Vader walking down the middle of the street with a bunch of young peeps and Diahann Carroll. It looks fierce AF, and just like the film for me. It also looks like a big picture, so why was it buried. I couldn’t get a copy, and there was little info on it. Made me want it more. So years later when I score a copy, expectations were very high.

I was not let down, and WE were not let down. We loved it so much after watching and reviewing this on 8/25/2020 we decided we needed to showcase it.

It’s great and political with a whole bunch of heart. Of course now its got a blu ray edition and is easier to find, which is great.

If you like Claudine 1974 we hope you like us rapping for almost three hours about it. Our friend Rose is here for this one too. Freddy Boom Boom Washington is also in this pic that’s directed by John Berry, who directed the recently reviewed Thieves, which has not yet got it’s blu ray release (had to get a bootleg). Get it together peeps the film deserves to be seen. Well we’ve done our part once again to share these important films from the decade where they sure loved to talk about everything that was going on and many many cases not yet talked about at all, especially on film.
