The Winter Solstice is coming! Let's talk about the longest night, AKA the shortest day, and how the modern celebration of Yule relates to its more ancient origins. We're also discussing some pagan mythology, including the Oak and Holly Kings, and then diving into the scarier folktales associated with this season, like Krampus, the Yule Cat and Gryla and her Yule Lads! But first, I have some things to say about the New Moon in Sagittarius and how its energy, paired with that of the Winter Solstice and the end of the year, makes us all think a little more passionately about what we want our next year to look like - and how that's pushed me to plant my own new seed.
