In today’s show we discuss a moving story and the important lessons we can learn from children in sport today. Our guests for the episode include Dr. Lisa Hrehor and her son, Jonah EricksonHrehor. Dr. Hrehor is a Mom of 3 and the Director for Health and Wellness Studies in the Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Binghamton University. She teaches courses in Sports Psychology, Stress Management, Healthy College Living, and Women's Self-Defense. When she is not busy traveling with her kids' sports or working backstage at her daughter's theatre productions, she enjoys traveling in her motorhome around the US, riding her e-bike, and working around her homestead in Central NY. Dr. Hrehor’s amazing son is Jonah who is an avid hockey player and fan.
Our third guest is Mr. James Henry. Jim is a father of 3 and has been involved in youth and college hockey as a coach and administrator for over 25 years. Jim's "day job" is leading a group of Financial Advisors in WNY. He is currently the head coach of his son's 12U hockey team and has coached every age group from running an initiation program for kids under the age of 6 to being the head coach of a Women's college team. Jim, his wife Becky, and family live in Pendleton, NY.
