On this week's episode, Alex and Brandon chat about a great disturbance in the Force.

After a long, much needed break over Christmas and New Years, Alex and Brandon are back and excited to take on 2017. After catching up on what they were up to over the holidays, they get back into the swing of things by unboxing 2 subscription boxes from Funko. After that, they move on to Alex's pick for the ABC's of Geekdom segment, where things get a bit rocky. Then they move on to make some corrections from the previous 2 episodes, including Robyn's appearances on the show, the number of black tshirts in the various subscription boxes Alex subscribes to, hikari figures, Deathtrooper uniforms and classes, why Anakin was too old to be trained as a Jedi, Christopher Walken's character in Batman Returns, teenagers who played teenagers, Unicron, Harry Potter movies, Despicable Me voice actors, Fast and Furious, Powerless, An Inconvenient Truth, Star Wars, Aladdin, Black Adam, the Saber Guild, Kingdom Hearts, and Elektra.

After the break, they boys come back to discuss a few trailers, including Cars 3, Cult of Chuckie, Alien Covenant, Bladerunner 2049, and Riverdale. Then they talk about the saddest news of 2016, the untimely passing of Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds. After blowing their noses and collecting themselves, they talk about some more news, including Doctor Strange appearing in Thor: Ragnarok, Benedict Cumberbatch being related to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Deadpool not appearing in Logan, a Dune remake, Forest Whitaker reprising his role as Saw Gerrera on Star Wars Rebels, the new voice cast for the reboot of DuckTales, and a reboot of Charmed. Alex then gives a really short review of a cult classic movie, They Live, and why it was so bad. Then the boys give a new top 5 list that will make you want to rush out to the movie theater. With no emails to read, the boys move on to the final segment of the show Fan Fic Fights, this time eschewing a traditional fight for a comparison of two posh British gentleman.

Last but not least, Alex announces his pick for a movie to watch and talk about in two, one of his all-time favorites, American History X. This is a brutal movie, so viewer discretion is heavily advised, but it's awesome, so you don't want to miss out on the conversation.
