ABC Podcast: Alex and Brandon Chat

On this week's episode, Alex and Brandon chat like bros.

Alex has recovered from being sick, and he brought Robyn along with him to celebrate. After talking about the usual boring stuff, they start the show off with Brandon's choice for the ABC's of Geekdom segment, this week focusing on a rotund young boy with a love of hamburgers. After that, Alex, despite protests, gets into some corrections, including Futurama, fighting games, Funko socks, a mysterious Leia Pop! vinyl, Fire Emblem, Teen Titans Go!, Throne of Atlantis, Ryan Reynolds, Olivia Holt, Scott McNeil, Steve Blum, Flynn from the Skylanders games, Khary Payton, Clancy Brown, and Bullseye. Before the break, they also talk about a couple of movies they saw and why they were so awesome.

After the break, they talk about a ton of videos and trailers, including the first look at Avengers: Infinity War, Teen Titans: the Judas Contract, the LEGO Ninjago Movie, Iron Fist, Samurai Jack season 5, Fate of the Furious, Logan, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Transformers: the Last Knight, Life, A Cure for Wellness, and Stranger Things. Then Alex goes on a long rant about the latest update on Plants vs. Zombies 2 and why it is so bad. After that, they talk about some news from the past week, including Matt Reeves directing The Batman, Thandiwe Newton potentially appearing in the young Han Solo movie, Ted Levine appearing in Jurassic World 2, a remake of the horror classic Halloween cowritten by David Gordon Green and Danny McBride, a new show based on Castlevania coming to Netflix, Khary Payton returning as Aqualad for season 3 of Young Justice, Star Wars Land coming to Disneyland and Disney World in 2019, Fast and Furious Live, the Black Lightning tv show going to the CW, and Peter Capaldi leaving Doctor Who. Having covered all of that, the trio bros out and begin a surprisingly philosophical discussion about the comedy Neighbors, which takes some unexpected turns. Before anchoring the show, the three friends engage in an all new Fan Fic Fights and broadcast their opinions for everyone to hear.
