Every election year politicians show up to Black churches, Black cookouts, and Black media pandering for Black votes. It is mostly Democrats, because until recently it was viewed as a waste of time and resources for Republicans to campaign for Black votes. However, that has changed. The Black vote is not as reliable for Democrats as it used to be, and both parties are now trying to get Black voters. Joe Biden and his team know he is losing support among this important demographic, especially with Black men. This past weekend, Biden delivered the commencement speech at Morehouse College in Atlanta. The all-male HBCU was the perfect place for Biden to sincerely and authentically make his case to Black men, but all he did was lie to them and offer them more shameless pandering. Why do I call it 'hot sauce' when politicians pander for Black votes? Join the conversation and get answers to this question and more on According2Sam episode #213.
