Campaign strategists that run major party presidential campaigns use data for every decision. They depend on polling, focus groups, modeling, and many other tools to gather as much information as they can from as many different methods possible. They can now identify particular precincts that will determine the outcome of an entire state. They know which demographic groups they need to improve with, and the groups they have locked up. This is why you see so many presidential candidates changing their message and retooling mid campaign. They are likely reacting to internal data their campaign has gathered. All of this data can be very useful, but it is not always practical. Even with all of this data and calculated moves it can be frustrating when the formula doesn't seem to be working. Why is Joe Biden's campaign likely frustrated right now? Join the conversation and get answers to this question and more on According2Sam episode #212.
