You can probably ask 10 people about the same scenario and they’d all give a different answer to questions about their childhood. Good, bad or indifferent, no two childhood were alike. When we think about how we were resided, it begs the question when others act otherwise, “who raised you?”.
Comedian T.K Kirkland coined the phrase in search of answers to uncouth observances. And it’s no surprise because the behavior of some of the heathens in the streets really make you ponder if they were raised by wolves. But who’s to say who was raised right or wrong? Because one person’s upbringing may differ than another, does it mean they were misled? Besides, we all know stories of seemingly awesome with parents who e gone astray. And in reverse, there’s legions of people with piss-poor parents who have created phenomenal lives for themselves. Maybe the question should be posed not in response to bad behavior rather as a mechanism to measure our current state to our upbringing to evaluate if we’re getting right or not.
Getting it right may be one of the most challenging aspects of our lives. With our heads being filled with all things Tik Tok, recipes, at home workouts, and just being a human being, who really knows what it means to get it right. We’re all just doing our best. Well some one of us.
