We all have an idea in our minds of what it will be like when the world is ending. It’s highly likely most of our thoughts include some of the same cataclysmic events in some order or another. After the recent events on the east coast of the US, some may have felt that time has come. Earthquake. Eclipse. Meteor. Aliens. Yup. Our combined dreams, or nightmares, coming true.
But in the aftermath and aftershocks, here we are. Still standing. So what’s really good? Are we living in times where anything can go down and we just have to roll with the punches be Ayse there’s nothing we can do to stop it? Seems as such. But there may be some things within our control if we really care. Ending the gun violence. Who’s raising their hands for that fight?
As Ramadan ended, Muslims around the world gathered to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr as they ended their month long fasting. Who would ever imagine 30 gunshots would ring out in area occupied by thousands of families? End of the world thoughts probably filled the minds of those running for their lives. The children who endured this experience may never forget the day. This is what happens when people in the world without any regard for life collide with those trying to live a better life.
Maybe there’s nothing we can do at the snap of our fingers, but we don’t hold back from expressing our feelings check out Episode 170 and join the conversation. Don’t forget to LIKE, COMMENT, and SHrARE.
