This new entry takes the action out of the cabin and into the city with a high-rise apartment building as the new setting. This is also notable for being another entry that does not feature Bruce Campbell in his iconic role as Ash Williams...well in front of the camera at least. This also has the unique status as essentially a reboot that is also a sequel making this one a rebootquel, that may be a very important movie in the future of evil dead as a whole.
