Success leaves clues and if you’re the type of person who wants to learn what it takes to be successful then this is an episode for you.
This week on The Financial Bloke podcast, I have retired beef exporter Mr Richard Rains.
In this episode we’ll be discussing his passion for mentoring the next generation, dig into the secrets of his success, and uncover how he achieved the ‘impossible’ and persuaded McDonald’s to include imported Aussie Beef in their All American Burgers.
Prior to his retirement Richard was the major shareholder of Sanger Australia, one of Australia’s largest meat exporters.
He is most well-known for convincing fast food giant McDonald’s to include imported Australian beef in their US restaurants. McDonald’s has since become Australia’s single largest beef customer.
Since retiring Richard has served on several boards but his main passion is developing and mentoring young people coming through the industry. He is integrally involved in a number of mentoring programs including The Zanda McDonald Award (https://www.zandamcdonaldaward.com/).
-----------------------
Ben spent over 20 years working with successful business owners and farming families which allowed him to unearth the timeless principles on how to successfully grow, protect and maintain wealth.
If you want to learn the principles of how to grow your family’s wealth throughout the generations, then you might consider joining The AgriCoach Podcast each fortnight for more Wealth & Wisdom.
