Welcome to the "Airway Answers: Expanding your Breath of Knowledge" with Nicole Goldfarb, M.A. CCC, SLP- COM®. In this episode, Nicole interviews a Multidisciplinary Airway Team consisting of DDS, RDH, SLP, PT, OT, NP/IBCLC. Learn the importance of a team effort in treating airway patients, and also learn about their upcoming STAR course in San Diego 10/25/24-10/26/24 which will help educate attendees on the role of each of these professionals in helping with early intervention, and remediating oral, facial, and airway issues to assist in preventing a lifetime of health problems. You will come out of this course with increased understanding, confidence, and excitement in working with a variety of professionals to better serve your patients.

She has taken many courses to further expand her education in learning about sensory and oral motor difficulties, tethered oral tissues (TOTs), breast and bottle feeding in infants as a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist-CBS, food progression, and overall pediatric feeding difficulties
Tamara Thomas is a registered dental hygienist and a certified orofacial myofunctional therapist with a passion for improving oral and systemic health. As the owner of Facial Physique Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, she provides specialized care aimed at enhancing breathing and craniofacial development for both children and adults.
Selina is a Certified Specialist in Orofacial Myology (CSOM), Breathe Institute ambassador, Myomentor, MyoMastermind and a MyoCircle graduate. Throughout her studies she has developed a passion for educating families and is eager to continue to provide services that guide growth and development for children. Selina also specialized in oral habits cessation programs.
Jennifer Gathman is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with over 15 years of maternal-infant experience. She began her career as a Labor & Delivery nurse and transitioned into lactation and postpartum work when she realized there was a need for better care and support for postpartum families.

Nicole Goldfarb, M.A. CCC, SLP- COM® is a Speech-Language Pathologist, Certified Orofacial Myologist, an International speaker, author, Ambassador for the Breathe Institute, a Talk Tools educational partner, and has served on the faculty for the Sleep Education Consortium and Airway, Sleep, and Pediatrics Pathway (ASAP) program. She is the author of an article in Dental Sleep Practice Magazine and Sleep World Magazine and is the author of a two-part chapter on OMT in a medical textbook. Nicole currently serves as a mentor and consultant in the field of OMT.
